Our Portfolio
These photos represent a collection of small houses we have renovated over the past five years.
We are drawn to small cottages usually 800-1000 square feet on or near the water. But that is not always the case.
“It comes from the need to create.”
Standing in a room and seeing all of the possibilities that others might not see; taking an ordinary space and creating something extraordinary.
Walnut Cottage
We began with an 800 square foot 1950’s vintage residence and transformed it into a modern English-style country cottage.

Violet Cottage
The Violet Cottage was originally a 1950’s cape housing wonderful spaces within.

The backyard, filled with thousands of wild violets, served as inspiration for this love affair’s name - The Violet Cottage.

Shore Drive Cottage - Front
Overlooking the Narragansett Bay are actually two separate beach cottages on one unique Rhode Island property.

These cottages were actually lost - washed out to sea in the 1938 hurricane, rescued and rebuilt.

Completely renovated in 2004, a wrap-around top deck was added to the front property and an English-inspired garden to the rear.

Shore Drive Cottage - Rear
Complementing the first beach cottage overlooking Narragansett Bay is the perfect guest cottage for friends or visiting relatives.

Gingerbread decks and porches, a private outdoor shower, and hand-painted antique vanity are some of the numerous Belle Cottage signatures that grace this unique cottage.

John Street Cottage
This 1905 Victorian-style home in Newport, Rhode Island had been converted to a five family apartment house.

Yes, that’s correct...

Five kitchens. Five bathrooms. And, five fireplaces.
All in desperate need of repair.

Middle Street Cottage
This 1925 Bungalow was in desperate need of Belle Cottage TLC.

She had not been cared for since the early 1960’s.

Latham Cottage
A 1920’s landscaped seaside cottage with wonderful old-fashioned screened porch.

Luxuries inside include masterfully restored hardwoods, oak mouldings, and beautiful 1920’s original French doors.
